Subject: Composite application

Release: 8.5
Reproducible: Always

Hi everybody,
I'm doing some testing trying to create a composite application starting from some databases of a product that our company sells.
It's a standard in this product that the aliases of the views are VXXX, those of the forms FYYY, those of the pages PWWW where XXX, YYY, WWW are numeber: so we have, for example, V123, V345 for the views, F050, F054 for the forms and so on.
Well, I put together a page (let's call this page1) in a new composite application where there are some views from a couple of databases of the product and things went very smoothly, the I decided to create another page (let's call it page2) where I'd like to put a form (like placeholder) where to open a document selected from a view in page1.
I was very confident that it'd work at the first try because I've made a test in another CA a cople of days ago but, it doesn't work. I get an error message "Unable to create document, database does not contain design element".
After 2 days of try this an that I've discovered that the problem is in the alias format (and only for the forms): if I use an alias like FXXX where XXX are letters it works, if XXX are numbers it doesn't work BUT it works fine if I put a VYYY (with YYY numeric) to the form.

So: only for the form aliases like F123 are not recognized when I try to put my component in a page, FABC is recognized, V123 for the forms, views, are recognized.

NOTe: all of this with a new page and a new component for every try, with the standard option and no other modification. Create the page, create the component (NSF), puti it into the page.

I've read all the documentation and there is written that you can name the page, the component whatever you like and I've found nothing on limitation in the naming for aliases.

Is this a problem/bug or I'm missing something?

Thank you all in advance.
Alessandro
